Welcoming our newest agent, Scott Denson!

Scott Denson is a brand new agent, who has just joined us at Crane & Crane Real Estate.  We are very excited to have him on board!  Here is a little bit about Scott:

Originally from Houston, Texas, as a young man, Scott worked with his family in a residential rental and investment property business both before and after his four years in the United States Navy.

In 1988, Scott moved with his wife and son to Columbia where he obtained a Bachelor’s degree from MU.  Through the years, Scott has invested in Mid-Missouri real estate on the side; he has now retired from a career in social services and returned to real estate full-time.

Scott spent many years helping people through social services; he is now devoting himself to assisting people with finding new homes and worthwhile investments.

I am available seven days a week to help you with the purchase or sale of your home or investment property. Please call at your convenience at 573 424-4760 or email me at scott@craneandcrane.com.

Please help me welcome Scott to the real estate community and to our office!

Realtor Code of Ethics

What sets a REALTOR apart from the average real estate agent?  Well, the main difference is REALTORS are held accountable for their actions and must abide by the Realtor Code of Ethics, which were written by the first Realtors to hold ourselves to a higher standard when conducting real estate transactions.

There are 17 different articles in the Code of Ethics outlining ethical practices and our duties to our customers/clients, to the public, and to each other as REALTORS.  From the first Article, to protect & promote our client's interest while treating all parties fairly, the guiding principle is the Golden Rule.  Not many other associations have a standard of conduct like our Realtor Code of Ethics.

Next time you interview a real estate agent, make sure they are a Realtor, and make sure they know what the Code of Ethics is, so you can trust they will have your best interest in mind.

Our agents at Crane & Crane receive weekly Code of Ethics training...I believe it's the most important thing in business. If you don't have your integrity, you don't have anything.
